DRYDEN — A roll-over collision involving three cars near Dryden on Sept. 1 has left one dead and five injured, said Washington State Patrol (WSP).
According to WSP, a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Patrick Marshall, 74, of Wenatchee, was traveling eastbound on US-2 near milepost 107 when it struck a Toyota Sienna from behind.

After hitting the Toyota, the Jeep rolled and struck another vehicle traveling westbound.
Marshall was transported to Central Washington Hospital for injuries. WSP said charges are pending investigation and that no drugs or alcohol were involved.
The driver of the Toyota was Pablo Roman Moralez, a 53-year-old male from California. Moralez and three passengers were transported to Central Washington Hospital for injuries. A fourth passenger, Alejo Garcia, a 27-year-old male from Mexico, was pronounced dead at the scene. Garcia and two other passengers were not wearing seatbelts, according to WSP.
The Jeep and Toyota were totaled. The vehicle traveling westbound was able to drive from the scene. The driver of the third vehicle, a 52-year-old male from Leavenworth, had no reported injuries. He was able to drive from the scene.
