Nason Creek rest area to close Sept. 23-24

COLES CORNER — The Nason Creek Rest Area on U.S. Highway 2 will close temporarily for maintenance beginning Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The rest area, located at milepost 82 near Coles Corner in Chelan County, is expected to remain closed through Thursday morning, Sept. 24, while WSDOT crews pump the facility's septic tank.

During the closure, the nearest rest area on U.S. 2 will be the Iron Goat Rest Area at milepost 58, about 25 miles west of Nason Creek.
