Jack D. Timmons went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2025, after having fought the good fight of faith in Jesus.

Jack was born to Frank and Helen Timmons on December 24, 1940, in Culver, Indiana.  Growing up he loved fishing and swimming with his brothers, Denny and Tommy.

Jack met his wife, Joy, while a student at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.  He graduated with a B.S. degree in engineering and major in air conditioning and heating.  While attending college, he was a Navy Seabee in the reserves, but he was called out to serve in active duty in Vietnam for two years.  Jack was discharged with honors in the U.S. Navy, in January of 1967.

After marrying Joy in 1967, he worked in his college profession for ten years.  But his desire was to be an apple orchardist and owner. With his wife and two children in 1978, they bought a 23-acre apple orchard in Manson, Washington.  Jack loved to grow apples.

Jack had deep faith in Jesus and volunteered in several churches as a bible teacher, usher and an elder in the Chelan Valley.

Jack was a loving father, grandfather, and husband.   Jack is survived by his wife, Joy; two children: Tharon and Denise; and two sons-in-law: Brian and Michael.  His grandchildren are Avery, Rachel, Hayden, Sebastian and Chloe.  He loved his family very much.
