Chelan, Manson 4-H members earn top honors at NCW District Fair

WATERVILLE — 4-H members from Chelan and Manson earned grand champion, reserve champion and best of show honors across a range of competitions at the 2026 NCW District Fair.

Manson's Kyla Dell was named junior grand champion in the NCW Fair Style Show, while Chelan's Juliet Bradley received reserve champion honors. Julia Ware of Chelan was the intermediate reserve champion in the style show.

Chelan and Manson exhibitors also earned honors in gardening and creative arts. Heston Dixon of Manson received best of show in ornamental garden, while Celia Doyle of Chelan was the intermediate grand champion.

Reeghan Evans of Chelan earned the senior grand championship in creative arts. Baylie Low-Gregg of Chelan was the senior reserve champion in photography.

In clothing fabric and needle arts, Dell received junior reserve champion honors, while Bradley was the intermediate reserve champion.

Local participants also placed in several small animal and poultry competitions. Siahna DeLeon of Chelan was the junior reserve champion in rabbit fitting and showing.

Olivia Wallace of Chelan was named grand champion in the geese division of poultry judging. Cheyenne Bowthorpe of Chelan received best of show for poultry eggs.

Dell earned another reserve championship in junior poultry fitting and showing.

Chelan and Manson participants also received honors in livestock competitions. Dixon was the junior reserve champion in swine fitting and showing.

Raelynn Evans of Chelan earned the market goat grand championship.

Chelan's Esther Christensen received intermediate reserve champion honors in Western pleasure, one of the fair's horse competitions.

The Chelan and Manson competitors were among 4-H members from communities across North Central Washington who earned honors in livestock, gardening, creative arts, photography, clothing, poultry, small animal and horse competitions at the district fair.
