WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Bighorns professional basketball team is releasing single-game and season tickets for their 2025 The Basketball League (TBL) season, which opens March 1 at Wenatchee Valley College.

The team, entering its first complete season under new ownership, will begin their campaign against the Willamette Valley Jaguars. The Bighorns are looking to improve upon their 10-10 record from the 2024 season.

"Our brand of basketball is fast paced and exciting," said owner Shawn Cooprider, who outlined plans to enhance the gameday experience beyond basketball.

"We will be creating an event around each of our home games," Cooprider said, "providing a complete entertainment experience we believe will be fun for all."

The organization has developed comprehensive plans for pre-game and post-game activities, including the addition of local food vendors, live entertainment, and a beer and wine garden. The initiative aims to showcase local talent and businesses at home games.

First-year head coach Matt Riley will oversee training camp beginning February 14 to determine the final roster, which is expected to feature both returning players and new additions.

The Bighorns, who brought professional basketball to Wenatchee in 2023, will play their home games at Wenatchee Valley College. Several home games will be broadcast on NCWLIFE, including the season opener.

The TBL regular season runs from March through June, with playoffs beginning May 27. The team's home schedule includes matchups against regional rivals Seattle, Vancouver, Salem, and Great Falls.

Tickets are available through the team's website at wenatcheebighorns.com.
