Missing person located in Tumwater Canyon

COLES CORNER — Chelan County Emergency Management says it has located Hyeseon Choi, a missing 28-year-old woman who was last seen near Coles Corner shortly after 9 p.m. on Oct. 3.

The agency said she was last seen on foot along SR-207, not far from Coles Corner.

Choi’s husband, Edward Lescher, announced that she had been found late Tuesday morning, Oct. 6. Emergency Management later confirmed she had been located along the roadside in the Tumwater Canyon. Choi was evaluated by medical responders, and transported to the hospital for further evaluation and follow-up care.

Chelan County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Ward Media’s request for comment.
