Manson Community Library seeks board members as terms expire

MANSON — The Manson Community Library Board of Directors is seeking applicants for two open positions as current terms near expiration.

The board, consisting of seven members, has two positions set to expire at the end of April. Both incumbents intend to seek re-election, but the application process remains open to all qualified candidates.

To be eligible, applicants must be registered voters residing in the Manson School District. They should also have a strong interest in serving the community and a passion for reading.

The elected board members will serve three-year terms. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the library.

Sign-ups for candidates will be open from March 4 through March 31 at the Manson Library. Voting will take place from April 1 through April 10, with candidates being notified of the results by April 12.
