Jacquelyn (“Jackie”) Iannello was born on February 1, 1959, in Millville, NJ. She was 66 years old when she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Wenatchee, WA.

Jackie was born to James and Elva Iannello and lived in Millville until she was 22 years old. She graduated from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) with a BA in Communications in 1981. While in college, she worked in the banking industry. In 1981, Jackie moved to Florida, where she remained until 1995.  In Florida, she worked in the banking industry and then moved into hospitality, which she thoroughly enjoyed.  In 1995, Jackie and her best friend moved to Wenatchee, WA. Jackie took a temporary job at Wenatchee Valley Clinic (now Confluence Health) and immediately proved to be a valuable asset to the organization. She was offered a permanent position in the business office and continued her career with Confluence Health in the IT department until her retirement, after 23 years of service with the organization.

Jackie was well liked by her co-workers, employers, and church family.  Jackie was quiet and reserved, but after she got to know you, she became well-known for her quirky sense of humor.  She learned to cook and became quite the chef.  She had a knack for knowing how much food was needed for large events and enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with her church by preparing elaborate meals for Valentine’s banquets, Vacation Bible School, and BBQs.  She loved to paint and to write--particularly poetry and short stories.  She also enjoyed camping, hiking, photography, and collecting lighthouses.  Jackie was a woman of many talents and was always willing to share them with her friends and family.

Jackie is survived by her brother, Bruce Iannello, and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elva Iannello, and stepbrother Tony Chiovari.  Laurie Dawson, Jackie’s lifetime best friend, will miss her terribly.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 7, at noon, at the Henry Building, located at 120 Cottage Ave., Cashmere, WA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Apple Valley Baptist Church (PO Box 2181, Wenatchee, WA 98807) where a memorial fund is being established for missions work in Jackie’s memory.

Arrangements by Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
