Posted

EAST WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Youth Circus is coming to Eastmont Parks and Recreation for four total “home” shows over the holiday weekend to kick off their 73rd season. On July 4 and 5 at Eastmont Park, the Circus will perform both morning and evening shows.

Proudly known as the "Biggest Little Circus in the World," the Wenatchee Youth Circus (WYC) presents shows featuring a diverse array of high-caliber circus acts, including high-wire performances, flying trapeze, aerial silks, acrobatics, juggling, clowning, and balancing feats. Notably, WYC performances do not include any animal acts.

The WYC stands as one of the top four nonprofessional troupes nationwide, having entertained over two million people across the western United States, from California to Alaska, and even into Canada. Averaging 12,000 miles annually, the show's consistent positive reception often leads to immediate re-bookings.

For over 70 years, the WYC has proudly toured the Pacific Northwest, performing to audiences of up to 1,000. Their dedicated performers train year-round to perfect their captivating acts, offering entertainment enjoyable for the entire family. Audiences of all ages, from young children to older viewers, are inspired by the performers, with children often seeing themselves reflected in the acts.

You can catch the 4th of July weekend shows at a 10:30 a.m. matinee or a 7 p.m. evening show both days. Tickets are available at the gate, and the cost for the matinee is just $1, with the evening show at only $5. The park is on N. Georgia Avenue and Grant Road in East Wenatchee. Bring lawn chairs and the whole family and enjoy the show!
