WENATCHEE—The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center (WVDRC) will host its Annual Celebration on September 3 at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. The event will celebrate peacebuilding efforts and honor the nonprofit organization's team, which is dedicated to serving the community through peaceful conflict resolution.
During the celebration, the WVDRC will introduce the inaugural Community Peacebuilder Award. This prestigious award will recognize individuals or organizations that have significantly contributed to promoting community peace. Nominations for the award will be accepted starting July 1 and can be submitted through the WVDRC website.
The 2024 Community Peacebuilder Award recipient will be announced during the Annual Celebration on September 3. The event aims to highlight the importance of conflict resolution and celebrate the efforts of those who work tirelessly to create a more peaceful community.
