WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center will host its Annual Celebration on Oct. 2, recognizing two community members for their contributions to promoting peace in Chelan and Douglas counties.
The event, themed “Pathways to Peace,” will begin at 5 p.m. at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Early Bird Priority Seating tickets are available through Aug. 31.
The 2025 Community Peacebuilder Awards will be presented to Reverend Debbie Sperry and Lance Noell. The award honors individuals or organizations that have made significant efforts toward fostering peace in the community.
Reverend Sperry serves as senior pastor at First United Methodist Church in Wenatchee. Noell spent 28 years in the Eastmont School District as an educator, vice principal, and principal, and currently oversees the Eastmont Opportunities Program.
The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center is a nonprofit organization that provides mediation services, conflict resolution training, and community education through a network of volunteer mediators.
