Wenatchee Figure Skating Club brings annual ‘Snow Globe Spectacular’ to Town Toyota Center Dec. 20

WENATCHEE — More than 55 skaters from across the Wenatchee Valley will take the ice at Town Toyota Center on Saturday, Dec. 20, when the Wenatchee Figure Skating Club presents its annual holiday production, “Snow Globe Spectacular.” The show has grown into a cherished winter tradition, offering families a festive way to mark the season while celebrating the skill and dedication of local athletes.

This year’s production features a wide range of performers, from young beginners appearing in their first show to seasoned competitors who have spent years developing their technique. Together, they’ll bring a mix of holiday music, colorful costumes, and themed choreography designed to evoke the feeling of stepping inside a swirling snow globe.

Two showtimes are offered — a 2 p.m. matinee and a 5 p.m. evening performance — giving families flexibility to attend. Each performance is built around small-group routines, solos, and ensemble numbers that highlight different facets of the club’s training program. For many younger skaters, it’s a chance to take the ice in front of an arena audience for the first time; for older athletes, it’s an opportunity to showcase the results of months of practice.

Coach and director Teka Sellars said the show represents a true community effort, with families, volunteers, and sponsors contributing behind the scenes to bring the production to life. The club presents the event each December as both a celebration of its athletes and a way to share the spirit of the season with the broader community.

Tickets are available online or at the door and are valid for either performance. Admission is $20 for general seating, $15 for seniors 65 and older and children ages 3–12; kids 2 and under enter free.
