WENATCHEE – The Wenatchee Bighorns will return for their second season in The Basketball League (TBL) in 2024, signaling the continuation of professional basketball in Eastern Washington. Anthony Williams, CEO of the Bighorns, emphasized the team's commitment to providing affordable family entertainment and competitive basketball.

"We are super excited about the 2024 season with the Bighorns," Williams stated. He highlighted the team's dual focus on community service and engagement alongside their pursuit of championship-level play.

In their inaugural season, the Bighorns recorded a 7-17 record. Building on this experience, team representatives participated in the TBL combine and draft in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the aim of assembling a team capable of both competing and excelling in the league.

Training camp is set to commence later this month, with the exact start date dependent on overseas travel arrangements for players. The Bighorns' season opener is scheduled for March 3rd against the Seattle Super Hawks, with their first home game on March 9th. Further details regarding the season schedule will be announced.

Beyond the court, Williams expressed particular enthusiasm for the team's community involvement efforts. "Our devotion is to the kids and families of the entire Wenatchee Valley," he remarked, underscoring the belief that basketball serves as a platform for positive community impact.
