Two arrested, three firearms seized after East Wenatchee fight

EAST WENATCHEE — Two men were arrested and three firearms were seized following a reported fight involving 15 to 20 people early Sunday in East Wenatchee, according to police.

East Wenatchee police responded at 4:55 a.m. Aug. 23 to the 200 block of Second Street Southeast. Officers detained people at the scene while breaking up the gathering, according to a department news release.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man. Charges included disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance and obstruction.

A vehicle connected to the incident was impounded and later searched under a warrant. Police reported finding three firearms, which were taken as evidence.

Possible charges related to the firearms remain under review. The investigation is ongoing.
