On December 23, Robert (Bob) Gervais passed away peacefully at age 92 in his home in Chelan. Robert was born in Syracuse, New York, and spent a lifetime serving his family, his community, and his country.
Bob retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service and came to Chelan, where he involved himself deeply in the community for many years. He served as clinic manager, mayor, city councilmember, and fire commissioner and helped found both the ambulance service and the Keep It Blue Lake Chelan campaign.
He joins other family and his beloved wife Sylvia and is survived by his daughter Monique, his grandchildren, and everyone in Chelan whose lives he touched.
A memorial service will be held January 5 at 2 p.m. at Campbell’s.
