Police investigate suspected shooting at Wenatchee Valley Mall

EAST WENATCHEE — Police are investigating a suspected shooting incident that occurred Wednesday morning in the parking lot of Wenatchee Valley Mall near Sportsman's Warehouse.

The East Wenatchee Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance at approximately 8:50 a.m. on September 4. Witnesses described an altercation between individuals associated with two vehicles in the parking lot.

According to the police statement, witnesses heard a loud noise and observed a window break on one of the vehicles. While witnesses believed the noise could have been a gunshot, no firearms were observed.

Both vehicles had fled the area before police arrived. Upon investigation, officers found bullet fragments and a casing in the parking lot, but no signs that anyone had been injured.

The East Wenatchee Police are now attempting to locate the subjects involved in this disturbance or anyone with knowledge of the incident.
