Piatigorsky Foundation pianist to perform at Wenatchee Valley College Oct. 1

WENATCHEE — The Piatigorsky Foundation will bring its fall concert to Wenatchee Valley College on Oct. 1, featuring a performance by pianist Richard Dowling.

The event will be held at the Grove Recital Hall in the college’s Music and Art Center, 1500 Fifth St., with a wine reception at 5:30 p.m. and the concert from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, with first-come, first-served seating. Parking will also be free during the concert.

"We are thrilled to host the community for another evening of world-class music, thanks to the Woods Family,” said Rachel Evey, WVC Foundation executive director. “The Piatigorsky Foundation musicians are always heartfelt and engaging."

Dowling has been a member of the Piatigorsky Foundation artist roster since 1994, performing nearly 1,200 recitals across 23 states. His career includes solo recitals, appearances at chamber music and jazz festivals, and performances as a guest soloist with orchestras. He has also produced performing editions of piano and chamber works for major music publishers.
