Pateros School District announces TK and Kindergarten registration

PATEROS - The Pateros School District has announced that registration and screening for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year will take place on Thursday, April 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Pateros School Library. To be eligible for TK enrollment, children must be at least 4 years old by September 1, 2024. Parents of children who attended Pateros TK in the previous year do not need to re-register for the upcoming school year.

Parents are advised to bring their child, along with their immunization records, birth certificate (optional), and social security card (optional) to the registration. To schedule an appointment, parents can call 509-923-2343 ext. 2.

In addition, the Pateros School District is conducting Child Find activities to identify, locate, and evaluate students with suspected disabilities within the district boundaries. These activities are designed for children not currently receiving special education and related services. Parents who have concerns about their child's health, hearing, cognitive functioning, language, learning, movement, serious behavioral needs, speech, or vision are encouraged to contact Sheri Mortimer, Special Education Director, at 509-923-2343 ext. 342.
