EAST WENATCHEE — Three people have been arrested in connection with a late-April stabbing in East Wenatchee that left two men injured, according to the East Wenatchee Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 6:40 p.m. on April 28 to a reported disturbance in the 800 block of North Baker Avenue, where witnesses said multiple individuals, both male and female, were involved in an altercation in a parking lot.

During the incident, two adult men sustained stab wounds. Both were transported to Central Washington Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Police said the suspect in the stabbing fled the scene in a vehicle prior to officers’ arrival.

Officers secured the scene, assisted medical personnel, and began interviewing witnesses. After reviewing surveillance video, investigators identified several individuals believed to be involved.

With assistance from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Wenatchee Police Department, officers located and arrested one female suspect for her involvement in the disturbance.

As the investigation continued, detectives developed probable cause to arrest two additional suspects, a male and a female, in connection with the stabbing. An arrest warrant was issued for the male suspect.

On May 2, both outstanding suspects were located, arrested, and booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center.

Investigators later executed a search warrant at a residence associated with one of the female suspects, recovering evidence related to the stabbing along with two handguns believed to be unlawfully possessed. Additional firearm-related charges are being referred for prosecution.

The investigation remains ongoing.
