Manson Bay to light up the night with 46th Annual Fourth of July fireworks show

Posted

MANSON - The skies over Lake Chelan will explode with color this Independence Day as Manson hosts its 46th Annual Manson Bay Fireworks Show on Friday, July 4. A beloved tradition in Eastern Washington, the event promises a full day of summer fun capped by one of the region’s most spectacular fireworks displays.

Festivities kick off at 7:00 p.m. at Manson Bay Park with live music from The LakeBoys, featuring local musicians Greg Kennedy and Arthur Dunn. Families are encouraged to cool off in the swim area, stake out their viewing spots, and enjoy the lakeside energy as the celebration builds toward the grand finale.

The fireworks show begins at 10:15 p.m., launched from a barge anchored in Manson Bay. With panoramic views from all around the lake, spectators can expect a dazzling display of light reflecting off the water against the backdrop of the North Cascades.

The show is made possible thanks to the continued support of local businesses, community members, private donors, and the successful Stars and Stripes Auction. Organizers are still working toward their fundraising goal and welcome contributions. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made online at www.moretomanson.com/fourthofjuly or by mailing a check to the Manson Chamber of Commerce.

Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it and explore local shops, restaurants, and wineries—many of which help fund this cherished community event.

Make memories, make it Manson—and help light up the sky this Fourth of July.
