Leavenworth Library hosts Birdfest Poster Contest art show

LEAVENWORTH - The Leavenworth Library is proud to announce an art show featuring the top 15 entries from the Birdfest Poster Contest. The exhibition will be held in the Fireside Room from May 8 through June 7. In addition to the top 15 entries, a display of other submissions from Leavenworth will also be showcased.

The Birdfest Poster Contest invites kindergarten through 8th grade students to create avian-inspired art pieces. The winning entry will be featured on the official Birdfest poster. This year's winner is a student from Icicle River Middle School, highlighting the talent and creativity of the local youth.

Visitors to the Leavenworth Library will have the opportunity to view the impressive artwork created by these young artists. The exhibition aims to celebrate the community's artistic talents and raise awareness about the annual Birdfest event.
