CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Bach Fest is set to conclude its 43rd annual event with a free pops concert on Saturday, July 13, at the Chelan County PUD Pavilion in Riverwalk Park.
The concert, featuring a full orchestra, will present a blend of classical and popular music. It marks the finale of the nine-day festival, which has grown from a small gathering of musicians to a significant cultural event in the region.
This year's Bach Fest, running from July 5 to July 13, boasts over 100 musicians and 21 events, showcasing a diverse range of musical performances from Bach and classical compositions to contemporary pop arrangements.
Guest conductor Yaniv Attar is leading the festival for the 2024 season, bringing a fresh perspective to the long-standing tradition.
The pops concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Organizers emphasize that the event is open to all, encouraging community participation in this celebration of music against the backdrop of Lake Chelan's natural beauty.
The Lake Chelan Bach Fest, now in its fourth decade, continues to fulfill its mission of combining musical excellence with the scenic allure of the Lake Chelan area, offering what organizers describe as "memorable musical moments" for both residents and visitors.
