The family of Kathy Janel (Jan) McAlvey, a lifelong resident of Chelan, is saddened to announce her unexpected passing on October 25, 2025, at the age of 71 years. Jan was married to Clark McAlvey in 1983 and together they had two children, son Joshua and daughter Erin. She worked for many years in the insurance business and loved serving her customers. We miss her loving, lively spirit and her joking nature. A memorial will be held at the Chelan Senior Center Sunday, December 14, at 2 pm.
