Holiday Spicier returns, seeks local acts for Oct. 19 auditions

WENATCHEE — The Numerica Performing Arts Center is cueing up its cheeky holiday tradition and looking for local talent to headline it. Auditions for “Holiday Spicier,” the PAC’s irreverent variety show of music, dance, comedy, and seasonal mischief, are set for Sunday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the theater.

The 2025 edition returns with two performances on Friday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Last year’s shows sold out, and organizers say the late-night second set has helped the production become a fast favorite with audiences who like their tinsel with a twist.

“We’re looking for talented performers, singers, dancers, comedians, and musicians, who are ready to share their unique talents,” said creative lead Jaime Donegan. “Artists wishing to audition should prepare a short act, no longer than three minutes, and bring any necessary performance materials or instruments, along with a touch of holiday spirit and a willingness to be a little naughty. We really like artists to come to the audition ready with their ‘A-game.’”

The creative team behind the show includes Donegan, Amy Edwards, Ernest Palmer, Domingo Gonzalez, and Mike Locke. Acts of all kinds are welcome, from tight three-minute stand-up sets to jazzy duets, tap, or instrumental features, provided performers can keep it crisp, polished, and festive.

Audition slots can be reserved by emailing info@numericapac.org. Walk-ins will be accepted as time allows, but scheduling ahead is encouraged to keep the process moving. For more information, contact Jennifer Korfiatis at 509-665-0208.
