Hispanic business training series launches in Wenatchee Valley

Posted

WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce is launching a new bilingual business training initiative aimed at supporting Hispanic entrepreneurs in the region.

The program, called Empresarios en Acción (Entrepreneurs in Action), will offer comprehensive training sessions covering essential business topics including marketing, bookkeeping, business and grant writing, and taxes. The series will be conducted in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility for all participants.

The initiative, sponsored by SkillSource, will consist of four sessions scheduled throughout 2025, with meetings planned for February 26, April 16, July 16, and October 15.

The training program was developed based on input from Hispanic business owners and community leaders to address specific needs within the local business community. It aims to connect Hispanic entrepreneurs with resources available through the Chamber and its partners.

The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization with over 600 members, has served the local business community for more than 100 years. The Chamber's offices are located at the intersection of Second Street and Wenatchee Avenue.

Interested participants can find more information about the program at wenatchee.org/empresarios-en-accion or by contacting the Chamber at 509-662-2116 or dandre@wenatchee.org.
