RICHLAND — Gesa Credit Union announced it is accepting applications for its 2025-2026 scholarship program, offering more than $100,000 in educational funding to support local students.

The Washington-based credit union's scholarship program targets multiple educational stages, from first-time college students to those managing existing student loan debt. Applications will be accepted through February 28, 2025.

The program allocates $50,000 for high school seniors who participated in Gesa's High School Credit Union program, $30,000 for other high school seniors entering college, $15,000 for continuing education students, and $5,000 for members with active student loans.

"At Gesa, we believe that education is one of the most powerful tools for personal growth at any age," said Brandon Allison, AVP of Training, Education and Community Relations at Gesa Credit Union. "We're proud to help reduce financial barriers through our Scholarship Program so that local students from all backgrounds can focus on their academic goals and future careers."

Eligibility requirements include Gesa membership, and applications must be submitted through the credit union's online portal.

Gesa Credit Union, headquartered in Richland, Washington, manages over $5.5 billion in assets and serves nearly 290,000 members. The institution operates 32 branches and loan centers across Washington state, including full-service student-operated campus branches at Washington State University and 14 student-operated high school branches.
