EAST WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Area Genealogical Society will present a hybrid program, "Where Did Your Family Tree Grow?", on Monday, May 12, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
WAGS members Cathie and Brian Wengreen will lead the presentation at the FamilySearch Center, 667 10th Street NE, East Wenatchee, and online via Zoom.
The Wengreens will share “pictures and details of their trip to the Netherlands last year” and broaden the discussion to explore how individuals can uncover the roots of their own family stories.
"Where did your family tree grow? Why would you want to know? Have you ever been there? What could you gain by knowing more about where your family story began?" they ask in their event description.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Zoom information is available by emailing Library@wags-web.org. For general inquiries, call 509-782-4046.
The Wenatchee Area Genealogical Society maintains a library at 127 South Mission, Museum Annex Building, open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. More information is available at www.wags-web.org.
