EAST WENATCHEE – A 47-year-old East Wenatchee woman remains missing after she was last seen near the north end of the Orondo Street boat launch parking lot on July 30, according to the East Wenatchee Police Department.

Police said Ryan C. Miller was reported missing at approximately 9:42 a.m. July 31 after staff at an assisted living facility at 451 Baker St. reported she had not been seen since about 9 a.m. July 30.

Investigators determined Miller boarded a Link Transit bus near 451 Eastmont Ave. at about 10:07 a.m. July 30 before transferring to another bus and exiting near Pybus Market at approximately 10:32 a.m. Surveillance footage later showed her walking toward the dock at the north end of the Orondo Street boat launch parking lot at about 10:37 a.m., according to police.

Police said investigators believe Miller may have intentionally entered the Columbia River from the dock area.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office searched the river Aug. 2 using a sonar-equipped boat but did not locate Miller. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office also searched the shoreline with a drone, and additional helicopter flights are planned, according to the release.

As of Aug. 3, Miller had not been located and remains listed as missing. She is described as a white female, 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 235 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black backpack, yellow shirt, blue jean capris and black sandals.

Anyone with information about Miller's whereabouts is asked to contact RiverCom at 509-663-9911.
