EAST WENATCHEE — Cuban culture will take over your senses and move your feet at a one-night-only event in East Wenatchee on August 9. Experience an unforgettable Havana Night in downtown East Wenatchee! Drums will play and hips will sway as you mambo, cha-cha-cha, and salsa to live Cuban music.
Event highlights include live music and dancing from Latin music group Son Los Que Son, featuring Stuart Vazquez on drums and vocals, Miguel Muñoz Lucho and Patricia Carrion on keyboards and vocals, Erick Zepeda on bass and Tor Dietrichson on congas. The street will be closed, so bring your best moves!
There will also be a Havana-inspired car show, featuring all the classic pre-embargo cars you’ve seen in the movies driving along the waterfront in Havana. As the premier venue in East Wenatchee for block parties, Clearwater Saloon & Casino is hosting a beer garden and cigar bar. Register your vintage vehicle and purchase tickets for hand-rolled cigars today, as space is limited.
There will be plenty of delicious food on hand from local vendors and food trucks, and admission to the event is totally free. This is a family affair, so bring the kids down to 880 Valley Mall Parkway at Gateway Park on August 9 from 6–10 p.m.
