WENATCHEE — Bargain hunters and supporters of local businesses will have two days to explore downtown Wenatchee during the annual Summer Sidewalk Sale, returning Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8.
The longtime retail tradition will feature participating downtown merchants bringing merchandise onto sidewalks throughout the district, offering seasonal discounts and end-of-season sales while creating a walkable shopping experience for residents and visitors alike.
Hosted by the Wenatchee Downtown Association, the event encourages shoppers to visit locally owned boutiques, specialty stores and other downtown businesses while taking advantage of summer promotions.
Promotion Committee Chair and WDA board member Jamie Huber said the event remains one of the organization's signature traditions.
"Summer Sidewalk Sale is my favorite downtown event—a tradition that captures the spirit of downtown Wenatchee," Huber said. "It's a great time to discover incredible deals while supporting the local businesses that make our downtown so special. I hope to see you downtown on August 7th or 8th!"
The association describes the sale as one of downtown Wenatchee's longest-running retail events, giving shoppers an opportunity to browse a variety of businesses in one trip while helping support merchants that contribute to the district's year-round vitality.
Additional information about participating businesses and the event is available at www.downtownwenatchee.org and through the Wenatchee Downtown Association's social media channels.
