Dam Car Show promises custom rides, family fun and a view

WENATCHEE — Rocky Reach Dam will be generating more than hydropower on August 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Juan Hernandez and North West Fam Car & Truck Club are holding the second annual Dam Car Show at the famed waterway, and there’s something for everyone, all day long.

With 32 class trophies in both old school and new school styles, you’ll see custom cars, trucks and motorcycles polished to perfection and ready to rev their engines. With a live DJ, kids’ games, food from Taqueria Los Amaya, and family fun, it will be a celebration of style and shine.

Low riders, custom tints, custom truck beds and enough attitude to turn all 11 turbines inside the dam will be on full display, perfect for a Saturday afternoon overlooking the glorious Columbia River.

Come out and celebrate with North West Fam. Entry fees are $30 per car or truck, $20 per bike, and all proceeds go to benefit local schools. Judging takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and trophies are awarded at 2:30 p.m.

Registration is in-person on the day of the event, so if you want to show off your ride, come first thing when the show begins!
