CVCH adds pediatric dentist at East Wenatchee clinic

EAST WENATCHEE — Families seeking dental care for young children will have a new option in the Wenatchee Valley as Columbia Valley Community Health expands its pediatric services.

CVCH has hired Dr. Estela Gomez, an award-winning pediatric dentist, to serve patients at its East Wenatchee Dental Clinic on Eastmont Avenue. The clinic is now accepting new pediatric patients.

Dr. Gomez specializes in caring for infants, children and adolescents, with an emphasis on building positive early experiences that support long-term oral health. Her addition comes as community health providers across the region continue working to increase access to preventive care for local families.

“We’re thrilled to have Dr. Gomez join our dental team,” Dental Operations Director Miryam Nossa said in a press release. “Her skill and dedication will further enhance the care we provide to children and families in our community.”

Columbia Valley Community Health operates medical, dental and behavioral health clinics serving Chelan and Douglas counties, with a focus on comprehensive, family-centered care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

Pediatric dental services play a key role in that mission, providers say, helping address early childhood tooth decay — one of the most common chronic health conditions among children — while establishing lifelong habits around preventive care.
