WENATCHEE — Community members are invited to attend a free public gathering on Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m. at Mercantile, located at 14 N. Wenatchee Ave., where local leaders will share plans to transform downtown Wenatchee into a more vibrant cultural and economic hub.
Representatives from the Chelan County PUD, Wenatchee Valley YMCA, Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center, Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority, Weidner Apartment Homes, and others are scheduled to provide updates and answer questions about their respective projects. Light refreshments will be provided.
“Downtown is growing in powerful ways,” said Rosa Pulido, executive director of the Wenatchee Downtown Association. “This event is about celebrating that momentum while keeping our community informed, connected, and supported through every phase of development.”
Todd Kiesz, an attorney and downtown property owner, also encouraged public participation.
“Thank you to all those organizations and individuals who have made significant commitments to making this valley the best it can be,” Kiesz said. “We look forward to celebrating each of you and supporting your success. Come join us and learn about the truly transformative investments coming to your downtown!”
The event is supported by the Wenatchee Downtown Association and Mercantile.
