EAST WENATCHEE — The rumble of engines and the shine of polished chrome will return to East Wenatchee on May 1 and 2 as the Les Schwab Classy Chassis Parade and Car Show rolls back into town.
The two-day event brings together vintage cars and trucks, motorcycles and muscle cars, with a mix of music, food vendors and family activities that have made it a familiar early-May tradition for local residents.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. on May 1 with the Classy Chassis Parade, starting at Eastmont Community Park before heading down Grant Road and turning onto Valley Mall Parkway, ending near 11th Street. Spectators can line the route to watch the procession, then return to the park, where food vendors will be set up and a beer garden will be open in front of Clearwater.
The celebration continues on May 2 with the car show from noon to 4 p.m. at Eastmont Community Park. After seeing the vehicles in motion the night before, visitors can take a closer look, meet owners and vote for their favorites. The event will also include food vendors and a bouncy house area hosted by 509 Rentalz.
Organizers say the event is designed as a free, family-friendly gathering that brings the community together around a shared appreciation for classic vehicles and local tradition.
Proceeds from the event support the East Wenatchee Rotary’s scholarship fund, continuing a long-standing connection between the show and local students.
The event is sponsored by Les Schwab, Town Auto Group and People’s Bank.
