CITY OF LEAVENWORTH On the 26th day of November, 2024, the City Council of the City of Leavenworth, Washington passed the following ordinances. A summary of the contents provides as follows: Ordinance 1701: An ordinance of the City of Leavenworth, WA, authorizing the condemnation, appropriation, taking and damaging of land and other property rights necessary for ingress and egress together with all rights appurtenant thereto, including access where applicable, for purposes of repairing, replacing, updating and revising the City’s existing sewer line. This Ordinance directs the City attorney, or designee, to prosecute the appropriate legal proceedings, together with the authority to enter into settlements, stipulations or other agreements; and acknowledges a portion of the real property affected is located within the City limits of the City of Leavenworth, in Chelan Co., WA authorizing payment thereof from the City’s general fund, utility fund or from such grants or other monies that the City may have available or attain for the acquisition; and establishing an effective date. Ordinance 1702: An Ordinance of the City of Leavenworth, Washington, amending LMC Chapter 5.21 Transient Business, prohibiting peddling activities within the City. Ordinance 1703: An Ordinance of the City of Leavenworth, Washington, adopting Unit Lot Subdivision regulations in LMC Title 17 Subdivisions.
