City of Leavenworth Curb Ramp Improvements Bid Information NOTICE TO BIDDERS City of Leavenworth, WA - CURB RAMP IMPROVEMENTS TIB Project No. P-E-850(P07)-1 - City Project #: 2023-023 Sealed bids will be received by the City of Leavenworth at the City Hall Reception Desk, 700 US 2, Leavenworth, WA 98826 or by US Mail: PO Box 287, Leavenworth, WA 98826 until 2:00:00 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and will then and there be opened and read for construction of the improvements. Each bid shall be addressed to “ANDREA FISCHER, CITY CLERK.” Each bid shall be plainly marked “SEALED BID – DO NOT OPEN, CITY OF LEAVENWORTH, CURB RAMP IMPROVEMENTS”. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier’s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Leavenworth. The engineer’s range for Schedule A – Base Bid for this project is $195,000 to $275,000. The project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to provide new ADA compliant cement concrete curb ramp improvements. This project includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, curb ramps, pavement, and subgrade; removal and resetting of existing sidewalk bricks; construction of new cement concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk; cement concrete curb ramps; adjusting catch basins to grade; minor landscaping and restoration; installation of new signs; installation of pavement markings; temporary construction traffic control; and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete this project.
