WENATCHEE — To commemorate the lives of Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker, the Chelan County Courthouse flag has been lowered to half-staff. These young sisters, deeply cherished, are remembered for their radiant smiles, close bond, and brief yet impactful time within our community.
This act is separate from the ongoing investigation and is intended to demonstrate the community’s commitment to honoring these three children. Many people here are extremely close to the family, and the impact of their loss is felt throughout the Valley.
The Board of County Commissioners has invited other municipalities, organizations, and individuals to participate in honoring the Decker sisters by lowering their flags as well. This tragedy deeply affects us all as a community, and this act can show the kind of solidarity that the area needs at a time like this. The courthouse flag will remain at half-staff until the morning of June 10.
