Cascade School District names new IT Director

Posted

LEAVENWORTH  — Cascade School District announced David Belmont as its new Information Technology (IT) Director.

Belmont comes to the district with over 12 years of experience in IT. His approach to technology solutions is described as people-first, focusing on understanding what people truly need and aligning technology to meet those needs. According to CSD, Belmont has a philosophy that technology should make life easier, not harder; the best way to accomplish that is by listening first.

“We welcome David to our team, and we are excited to see how his expertise will enhance IT services for our students and staff,” said CSD Superintendent Dr. Tracey Edou.

As the School IT Director, Belmont is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of technology operations across the district. This includes oversight of infrastructure, cybersecurity, device management, and user support.

Belmont currently lives in Plain with his wife and their two children. He will start his role at CSD in early January.
