Candidate Forum scheduled ahead of General Election in Chelan

CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum for the upcoming General Election on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Chelan High School Performing Arts Center.

Organizers said the forum will give candidates a platform to share their reasons for running, highlight priorities and engage directly with voters. Community members will have the opportunity to hear from those seeking office and to ask questions on issues important to them.

Residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing Ruby@LakeChelan.com.

The Chamber of Commerce, which has operated since 1931, represents nearly 500 members and works to drive economic growth “through leadership, advocacy and promotion that enhances the quality of life in Lake Chelan,” according to the organization.
