WENATCHEE — Youth soccer teams from across the Pacific Northwest will converge on the Wenatchee Valley from July 31 through Aug. 2 for the return of the Wenatchee FA Apple Cup Soccer Tournament.

Organized by the Wenatchee Futbol Academy, the three-day tournament will feature games at Walla Walla Point Park, Foothills Middle School and the 9th Street Soccer Field in East Wenatchee. Admission is free for spectators.

The tournament will bring athletes, coaches and families to the region for a weekend of competitive soccer, with local vendors and family-friendly activities also planned at tournament sites.

Organizers said the Apple Cup has grown into one of North Central Washington’s leading summer soccer events, drawing teams from throughout the region and bringing additional visitors to area hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions.

“We are excited to welcome teams and families to Wenatchee for another great weekend of soccer,” Wenatchee Futbol Academy representatives said. “The Apple Cup is an opportunity to showcase our community, support local businesses and provide young athletes with a memorable tournament experience and showcase their talents.”

The tournament also gives young players an opportunity to compete against teams they may not ordinarily encounter during their regular seasons while allowing families to explore the Wenatchee Valley between games.

Community members are encouraged to attend and support the players throughout the weekend.

Tournament schedules, sponsorship opportunities and volunteer information are available at wenatcheefa.org. Additional event information is available at https://preview.mailerlite.io/preview/2064947/emails/191710006800811023.
