LEAVENWORTH — Regional, state and federal law enforcement agencies continued their search Tuesday for a Wenatchee-area man accused of kidnapping and murdering his three young daughters near the Rock Island Campground over the weekend.

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Wenatchee Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, is leading the multi-agency effort to locate Travis Decker, 32. Decker is wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree kidnapping in the deaths of his daughters — Paityn Decker, 9; Evelyn Decker, 8; and Olivia Decker, 5.

The bodies of the girls were discovered Monday in a remote area near Icicle Road outside Leavenworth, days after they were last seen with their father on May 30 during a scheduled visitation.

Decker remains at large, and authorities said he should be considered dangerous. A reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information that leads directly to his arrest.

“The U.S. Marshals PNVOTF is working closely with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office to locate and apprehend this fugitive,” the Sheriff’s Office stated in a release Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators have not confirmed whether Decker is armed, but law enforcement agencies are urging the public to use caution. Decker, a former member of the military with extensive training, is believed to have been living out of his vehicle or staying in various hotels, motels and campgrounds throughout the region.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office, call the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102, or submit a tip at www.usmarshals.gov/tips or through the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office website at https://www.co.chelan.wa.us/sheriff/forms/submit-a-tip.
